Business Context

Knight Prince Group (KPG) built a device financing platform and signed a deal with MTN Zambia to integrate the technology into their device sales operation. The platform let customers finance mobile devices instead of paying upfront, reducing purchase friction and increasing device sales. Before integration, customers faced multi-day bank approval processes and frequent drop-off before completing a purchase.

Millionaire Contracts led the business development, commercial coordination, and implementation side of the 12-month engagement, acting as the bridge between KPG, MTN Zambia leadership, technical teams, and financial partners to land the deal and get the platform working in the real world.

Scope of Work

  • 1

Commercial requirements translation, working with technical teams to ensure the platform supported same-day financing decisions and aligned with MTN Zambia's point-of-sale operations

  • 2

Stakeholder coordination across Knight Prince Group, MTN Zambia leadership, technical teams, and external financial partners to maintain alignment and keep the project moving

  • 3

Approval workflow redesign to remove bottlenecks and enable near-instant credit decisions, replacing the slow bank-dependent process that was losing customers before purchase completion

  • 4

Staff training and onboarding materials so frontline teams could confidently handle device financing conversations without delays or escalations

  • 5

Structured project management across all workstreams to keep timelines on track and ensure all objectives were delivered within scope

The Outcome

The platform launched successfully and became a core part of how MTN Zambia sells devices. Same-day approvals replaced multi-day waits, customer drop-off during financing declined, and the commercial and technical teams had the processes, training, and documentation to keep the platform running long after the engagement ended.

"Platform rollouts fail when execution is treated as an afterthought. Getting a system working in the real world requires someone who owns the details: the stakeholder alignment, the process redesign, the staff readiness, and the follow-through. The plan is only as good as the execution behind it."
